San Diego

Thanks to everyone that has been thinking of us during our coast to coast travels during the past few weeks. We have been up to our eyeballs in boxes and snow. Honestly the trip could not have gone any better, we hit no bad weather and practically no traffic. We also were able to spend a couple of nights with family along the way, which was a great break from hotel living.

Before the sun set on our time in California we spent the weekend in San Diego.

We spent our first day in San Diego at the Wild Animal Park, it is basically a zoo, but the animals are in much larger, more natural environments.

Besides taking the African Safari ride through the park were able to ride the carousel, which is included in your entrance fee so you can ride the thing over and over and over.

Here Will and I are watching the elephants. If you look closely you will see the two babies. They were super cute. The man on the left was feeding them and it was quite a sight when they all came running over.

There were quite a few different animals at the Wild Animal park including giraffes, lions, flamingos and a rhino of which there are only six in the world (it is not the one the kids are climbing on here).

It was a great first day to our weekend in San Diego. We spent the next day at Sea World, which I will blog about in the near future. Thanks again to everyone that has been faithful to pray for us through our transition from Wyoming to California to Wyoming to Georgia.
