Christmas and New Year's Wrapup

Christmas this year included a trip to Colorado Springs to see William's family and was the first time in a couple of years that the entire family was able to be together. We enjoyed a great lunch, time together, and exchanged gifts. Will and Grace were very excited to play with their cousins. For whatever reason the children decided to play ice cream factory, which is ironic because neither Will or Camden can eat regular ice cream, perhaps it was a soy cream factory. It was a beautiful day and fun was had by all.

We made a trip earlier this week to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. I was a great time, although more crowded than the last time we went. Will is digging for dinosaur bones in the interactive part of the "Dinosaurs: Ancinent Fossils, New Discovers" exhibit. Grace would have surely enjoyed this part of the museum but she was fast asleep on William's shoulder. We also saw some great exhibits on rocks and space. I would highly recommend going if you haven't been, it has a lot for kids to do and is free for military families.

We spent New Year's Eve like most others, watching football and going to bed earlier than midnight. We did get out and head to the bowling alley. It was Grace's first time as a bowler and she did quite well. Unfortunately she wanted to use the pink ball which was 18 pounds, but we helped her out and she finished with a respectable score. I would say that all the adults finished with respectable scores, but some of us relied a little too much on the bumpers.

Happy New Year.
