Life in California

So far things are going really well out here in California. We have been watching the weather in Wyoming and seeing the crazy snow storm that they just got makes us enjoy things out here even more. This morning we headed out to the beach and the beaches out here on the west coast are so beautiful. They don't have the soft white sand of the gulf coast, but they have there own very unique beauty.

We have been here a week now and have been trying to avoid eating out all the time. We actually cooked dinner in the hotel every night this week. Here is a picture of Grace helping me wash dishes in the bathroom sink. She thinks that is super fun!
The weather was amazing this week which is a true gift from God. It definetly makes living in a hotel a little bit easier. The kids and I got out every day this week. We found some great play grounds and the kids have been having a blast. Grace watches everything her older brother does and climbs on everything. They were at the top of this, but I couldn't get a picture because I would not leave Grace's side so we got a picture at the bottom instead.
Here is another picture from the beach. Will and Grace (William too) love digging and playing in the sand. We took a picnic lunch to have at the beach, but ended up having to head back to the hotel and eat our lunch by the pool. We had forgotten how sandy everything get at the beach and didn't really want peanut butter, jelly and sand sandwiches. We had a really nice morning.
Overall things are going really well for us. William is enjoying his training and his schedule has been fairly relaxed which has left us a lot of time to spend as a family. I feel so blessed that we are able to be here and are trying to take advantage of every moment!
